What is Reflexology?

Reflexology involves the stimulation and massage of different reflexes on the feet, which correspond to different areas or organs of the body. Stress has a very detrimental effect on the body and mind and Reflexology helps to promote and restore relaxation and natural balance.
​
Reflexology to me is about creating balance, and guiding the body towards its own healing and equilibrium. I feel most at home, most aligned, at my happiest, when I am in Nature.
When we are feeling more relaxed and more grounded, we are in a better place to make authentic decisions, look after ourselves, and feel creative and well. I have found Reflexology to be hugely beneficial for both mental wellbeing, physical health and spiritual wellbeing.

In Reflexology, nothing new is introduced to the body, yet it is guided back to its natural balance and state. The focus is on relaxation, as this creates the optimal state for the body to heal. It is an extraordinary therapy.
​
Receiving Reflexology is an extremely relaxing experience, and the treatment can help with sleep, promote a sense of well-being, and improve mood.
​
People can find that reflexology helps them with a variety of symptoms, all by bringing natural balance back to the body.

About Me
My name is Kate Louise and I am a Professional Reflexologist.
​​I trained as a Reflexologist as I am drawn to holistic ways of healing, and in promoting the innate wisdom and healing of the body that is already there. I also work as an Occupational Therapist in healthcare, and understand the value of health, choice and meaning in our lives, and as a Kambo Practitioner, working with Amazonian Plant Medicines.
​
Reflexology is a wonderful medium because it can work physically, emotionally and energetically. All my treatments are designed specifically for each client in mind.
​
I trained with the Temple Academy of Reflexology at Level 3, qualifying in 2024.

I have a beautiful cat called Summer and I work from my home. If you have a severe allergy to cats, I am probably not the reflexologist for you, as I can't guarantee a fur-free experience!
