Singing Workshops and Events

Song Circle at Awakened Spirit Festival, Bedfordshire. 2026
Singing : Nature Events, Workshop-Leading and Singing Circles
Two of the most regulating and important things for me are Nature and Singing. They always have been. Over the last couple of years, I have begun leading others in singing, which is a humbling and wonderful experience. Some of these events are indoors, but many are outdoors, within Nature, which feels like singing as it's meant to be done - around a fire, joined by birdsong, with the spring buds bursting around us or with the autumn leaves drifting from the forest canopy to floor around us. Singing about Nature; about the Earth; about movement in our bodies and the rhythm of the seasons around us.
I teach by ear, and there is no requirement to read music, be a confident or proficient singer, or have experience singing in a choir to attend. I teach a mixture of warm-ups, rounds and simple harmony songs. Sometimes the energy of the song is passionate, activistic and we stomp around the fire singing of the necessity to protect the Earth; sometimes the energy is gentle, calming and peaceful, and we sit down and focus on our breath and bodies as we sing.

Harmony in the Snug,
Fishery Wharf cafe, Hemel Hempstead. 2025
In 2026, I have led 4 editions of SeasonSong : a seasonal singing workshop in the woods at the Box Moor Trust in Hemel Hempstead; around the fire, sharing cacao and company.
On Christmas Day 2025 a group of us gathered in the woods and I taught some pagan christmas carols and songs to fit the Winter Season.
At the beginning of 2026 I began a new venture : a monthly community singing group in the gorgeous Snug space of the Fishery Wharf cafe in Hemel Hempstead : and Harmony in the Snug was born. This is a donation-based event for 1 hour on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
In August 2026, I led a Singing Workshop at the beautiful, intimate and conscious Awakened Spirit festival in Bedfordshire; singing with a focus on water and bathing the Earth in the midst of the summer drought felt so poignant and connected to the land.
In Autumn, 2026 I begin leading singing workshops in the new Yurt space at the Hospice of St Francis, in Berkhamsted. This is a beautiful space, with a wonderful sense of openness and with gardens lovingly tended by their many volunteer gardeners.
I have a WhatsApp group for singing event notifications - contact me if you'd like to be added.
Contact me if you have an event that it feels like a singing circle would fit into, and we can discuss it. All of my singing events are advertised through my Reflexology business, so as long as you're subscribed to my monthly newsletter, you'll hear about them.
